Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the HNF05.1A-500N-R0250-N-A5-NNNN mains filter within the HNF Mains Filters series. This passive line component is installed between the utility supply and a regenerative drive package. Because it is a passive device, it remains in the incoming power path during normal operation and does not require its own control logic. In automated machinery, it attenuates high-frequency harmonics produced by inverter switching and provides a low-impedance path for energy recovered during dynamic braking, preventing voltage spikes at the service entrance. By limiting conducted noise, it helps servo axes comply with plant-wide interference emission targets.
