The HNF05.1A-500N-R0600-N-A4-NNNN mains filter is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the HNF Mains Filters series. It is installed ahead of regenerative drive groups to attenuate conducted interference and to return surplus energy to the plant supply without disturbing neighboring automation nodes. By inserting this filter between the inverter cabinet and the facility bus, the system can meet internal EMC limits while protecting transformers, sensors, and fieldbus electronics that share the same power backbone.
Design version 1 in the 05 series exposes open terminals, so its degree of protection is IP00.
