Product Description:
The HNF01.2D-M900-R0026-A-480-NNNN is a three-phase mains filter from Bosch Rexroth Indramat that belongs to the HNF Mains Filters series. In automated machine lines, it is installed ahead of the drive cabinet so switching noise from connected drives is reduced before it reaches the supply network. During deceleration, it also channels regenerative energy back to the utility feed. This helps multi-axis servo systems stay within required electromagnetic limits for industrial automation.
This filter is built to the IP20 protection category, so its terminals must be mounted in an enclosed panel where fingers or tools cannot contact live parts. Design version 2 indicates the second mechanical layout of the housing, which sets the mounting hole pattern and internal choke geometry. The mains side accepts 3 × AC 400 to 480 V, -15% to +10%, 50/60 Hz, allowing the same hardware to be used on both European and North American 60 Hz plants without tap changes. To limit conducted emissions, it meets EMC class C2 – DIN EN 61800-3, extended frequency range, which targets industrial environments where the public low-voltage network is not directly connected. That combination makes the unit suitable for enclosed industrial panels supplied by either 50 Hz or 60 Hz mains.
The wiring capacity supports motion systems that involve up to 15 axes, and its internal inductors are sized so the combined motor cable can reach a maximum cable length of 900 m without exceeding leakage current limits. It is part of Series 01, which uses the same ferrite core material and thermal rating. The supply bus must be equipped with energy-returning converters because the filter is intended for regenerative devices only, preventing saturation that could arise on passive rectifier systems. This arrangement is suited to centralized drive cabinets that use long motor leads and frequent dynamic braking cycles.
