The HNF05.1E-500N-R0600-N-A5-NNNN is a three-phase mains filter manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Installed between regenerative drive inverters and the plant power bus, it attenuates conducted high-frequency emissions and returns braking energy to the grid without exceeding harmonic limits. By matching the impedance of regenerative converters, the unit helps protect upstream switchgear and supports compliance with EMC requirements in industrial automation lines. It is often used in retrofit projects where high regenerative energy levels can place added stress on upstream fuses and capacitors.
The enclosure is rated IP00, so the filter must be mounted inside a cabinet that provides protection against accidental contact and airborne contamination.
