The G6 COMBIVERT IO Inverters series is a KEB drive-converter platform designed for universal use in three-phase motor-drive applications, with support for open-loop operation as well as encoderless speed-controlled or torque-controlled modes depending on the selected control version.
In the IO-Link configuration, the series uses an integrated IO-Link device interface for machine-level communication and combines that with dedicated diagnostic access through RS232 and RS485 service interfaces. The control section also provides hardware-assigned digital inputs and outputs, analog inputs and outputs, relay outputs, inverter status indication, and a plug-in terminal structure for field wiring. Across the range, the series is available in multiple housing sizes and heat-sink versions, with type-code options covering 230 V and 400 V supply classes, braking-transistor variants, safety-related configurations, and different control packages. This makes the platform suitable for industrial systems that need a compact inverter with flexible I/O handling, parameter diagnostics, and direct integration into IO-Link-based automation architectures
