As a variable-frequency drive, it converts fixed mains power into a modulated output that controls three-phase motors used in conveyors, pumps, and packaging machines. Parameter setting and basic diagnostics are carried out through an LCD keypad on the front panel, allowing routine setup and status checks without additional hardware. An integrated EMC filter also helps reduce conducted emissions toward the utility connection, which supports cleaner cabinet-level power distribution.
The inverter belongs to the 3-Ph 400 V AC/DC voltage class, which matches common factory distribution networks that operate at 50 or 60 Hz. For circuit protection, it is used with a maximum 35 A mains fuse. Under continuous duty, the unit draws 31 A from the supply and delivers 24 A at the output terminals, which corresponds to 17 kVA of apparent power. This capacity suits motors up to 11 kW and supports steady operation on mid-range mechanical loads in material handling and process equipment. Current, voltage, and power are monitored by the internal microcontroller so the drive can respond to changing load conditions during extended operation.

Dynamic braking energy is routed through the GTR7 transistor so an external resistor can dissipate excess energy during rapid deceleration. Pulse generation in the power stage operates at 8 kHz, a switching frequency that balances acoustic noise and motor current ripple. Functional safety is handled by the certified STO input, which removes gate-drive power to the IGBTs without opening the mains contactor.
