Product Description:
The 10.G6.CDA-39B0 is a variable-frequency inverter produced by KEB for the G6 Combivert IO Inverters series. Designed to control three-phase induction motors, it uses a G6L-G regulation platform and accepts analog or digital command signals from the machine PLC. The unit is supplied without a keyboard or display, so configuration is performed through external tools. Cabinet air passing over a flat rear heat sink removes 65 W of internal power loss. The assembly fits into a Size C, Style A housing that measures 117 mm wide and 260 mm high, providing a compact footprint for general automation cabinets.
On the power side, the inverter connects to a three-phase 400 V AC/DC supply and draws 8 A under rated load, while upstream protection is provided by a 16 A mains fuse. It delivers an apparent output of 4.0 kVA with a continuous output current of 5.8 A. The drive can power motors rated up to 2.2 kW. An integrated braking transistor directs regenerated energy to a suitable braking resistor, while an internal radio-frequency interference filter reduces conducted emissions. Pulse patterns are switched at 4 kHz, balancing audible motor noise with dynamic response. The flat rear cooling surface transfers heat to the surrounding cabinet air without requiring a built-in fan.
For transient events, drive protection has an overcurrent cutoff of 216%, while a short-time current limit of 180% supports brief acceleration peaks before protective shutdown occurs. Safe Torque Off provides a functional safety layer that prevents torque production during an emergency stop when integrated into an appropriate safety circuit. The electronics operate within an ambient temperature range of 5–40 °C, and the inverter can be installed at elevations up to 2,000 m above sea level. The IP20 housing protects against finger contact and the entry of large solid objects. Because the enclosure does not provide protection against water, the drive must be installed inside a suitable closed cabinet.
