Product Description:
The 19.G6.CDE-35B0 inverter is produced by KEB and belongs to the G6 Combivert IO Inverters series. It converts the fixed plant supply into a programmable three-phase output so that pumps, fans, or material-handling drives can run at the speed demanded by the control system. An integrated braking transistor and an internal EMC filter are already built into the housing, reducing the number of external components needed during installation.
The inverter is fed from a supply of 400 V AC/DC and draws an input rated current of 66 A under nominal load conditions. On the motor side, it delivers a continuous output current of 60 A, which corresponds to an apparent power of 42 kVA. Pulse-width modulation is generated at a rated switching frequency of 4 kHz, but the unit can be set as high as 8 kHz when lower acoustic noise or finer current resolution is required. A mains fuse not exceeding 80 A protects the line conductors, and the short-time limit current of 90 A accommodates brief acceleration peaks without triggering protective trips. The internal EMC filter meets conducted emission limits, so no additional line filter is normally needed.
The electronic overcurrent trip activates at 108 A, while the control system also monitors the short-time limit current of 90 A to prevent prolonged overload. The hardware safety channel supports the functional stop category STO, allowing drive-based torque shutdown without contactors. During full-load operation, the inverter can drive machines up to 30 kW and, at that point, dissipates 762 W of power loss that must be removed by panel ventilation. The integrated braking transistor permits dynamic energy dumping into an external resistor during rapid deceleration, which helps limit DC-bus overvoltage events. This is useful in applications with frequent stopping or high rotating inertia.
