Product Description:
The 10.G6.FDA-3900 is an AC inverter manufactured by KEB for the G6 Combivert IO Inverters series. It accepts a three-phase 400 V supply and produces a variable-frequency output that allows industrial controllers to regulate the speed of induction or synchronous motors with precision. In automated production lines, the unit functions as a compact drive stage that translates motion commands into controlled motor torque. Its integrated power electronics support applications that require accurate acceleration, deceleration, and speed regulation within space-limited control cabinets.
With a maximum rated motor power of 2.2 kW, the drive supplies a continuous apparent output of 4.0 kVA and maintains a nominal line current of 5.8 A. An electronic cutoff intervenes when the current reaches 216% of the rated value, while the drive permits a short-term overload of up to 180% to accommodate acceleration peaks without tripping. The IGBT bridge switches at 4 kHz, balancing acoustic noise against semiconductor losses during motor operation. A built-in braking transistor dissipates regenerative energy produced when the connected motor decelerates. The internal EMC filter reduces conducted emissions, while air cooling through the flat rear panel keeps the housing within its thermal limits. Housing style A minimizes enclosure depth, and the STO function removes motor torque through certified logic instead of external contactors.
System integration is handled by the EtherCAT control interface, which exchanges real-time setpoints and diagnostic data across standard machine networks. The enclosure has an IP20 degree of protection, making the inverter suitable for installation inside switchgear or another protective cabinet. The unit can operate at elevations up to 2,000 m above sea level, accommodating installations at a range of industrial locations. Continuous operation is permitted at ambient temperatures from 5 °C to 40 °C without derating. Equivalent DC bus connections can also supply the power stage when the installation does not use a direct three-phase AC mains connection.
