Product Description:
The 09.G6.FLA-YA00 is an AC inverter module manufactured by KEB within the G6 Combivert IO Inverters series. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into a commanded output so that induction or PM motors can be started, stopped, and speed-controlled in automated equipment such as conveyors, mixers, or pumps. Integrated I/O and fieldbus options allow the drive to act as a decentralized actuator that exchanges status and commands with higher-level PLCs.
The logic section is powered from a dedicated 24 V DC control supply, so parameter access and fieldbus communication remain available even when the main power stage is de-energized. Real-time motion instructions reach the inverter through EtherCAT, while laptops or HMIs can connect via the RS232/485 diagnostic port. For machine sequencing, it accepts 8 digital inputs and two programmable 2 analog inputs that monitor speed reference voltages or process feedback. Fast braking during deceleration is handled by an internal braking transistor, which simplifies panel wiring. The inverter stores up to eight parameter sets so operating modes can be changed without reentering data, and the F = 0 Hz function is included to maintain torque at zero speed. Two transistor digital outputs signal drive status to external indicators or interlocks.
Functional safety is delivered through the STO safety function, which uses dual channels to remove gate signals and meets SIL requirements without extra relays. The two STO channels are monitored independently, which supports reliable shutdown behavior during fault conditions. Control hardware can energize field devices with 2 relay outputs that isolate 230 V contactors or alarms. Conducted emissions are reduced by an internal EMC filter, allowing the cabinet to meet industrial noise limits without separate line filters.
