B&R Automation manufactures the 4XP0043.00-00W X2X key module, that is a long-lasting interface component designed for improved control and communication in industrial automation applications. The module is small in size but quite useful, and it offers key characteristics for working well in complex contexts.

The specs of the 4XP0043.00-00W module are 140 mm in width, 52 mm in height, and 40.4 mm in depth. With a light weight of only 116 g, the module is compact and convenient to transport. One X2X slave 8-pin male multipoint connector will allow you to link the module. The module operates at 24 VDC and features galvanic isolation to guarantee consistent power. It utilizes only 0.35 A of electricity, and its surge current may reach 20 A for less than 1 ms. On one of the three illuminated ring keys, you can choose between white, green, yellow, and red; on the other two, you can choose between green, yellow, red, and blue. You can send signals to the module and interact with it using these keys. More than one million presses of these keys are feasible. The system is functioning well when the green light is on, and errors are indicated by the red light.

The front and back of the 4XP0043.00-00W are protected by IP65 and IP20 standards, and it has a UL 50 front Type 4X rating for use inside. The module can work in temperatures from 0 to 50°C and be kept in temperatures from -20°C to +60°C.
