The 4XP0070.00-00W keypad module belongs to the 4XP Keypad Modules series manufactured by B & R Automation. It is a front-mounted human-machine interface component that adds discrete push-button input to distributed control panels in industrial automation cells. By connecting the keypad to the machine network, the unit provides a dedicated tactile interface for operator commands and is suitable for washdown-prone areas. This module has a front sealing level of IP65, meaning jets of water or airborne dust cannot penetrate the face when it is installed correctly.
