Bosch Rexroth’s R-IB Interface Modules series is a modular Rexroth Inline terminal family for station-level power distribution, digital signal acquisition, and analog signal measurement within Inline automation systems.
The modules include a 24 V power terminal that feeds the main circuit (UM) and can also supply a segment circuit (US), with external fuse protection required and a combined potential-jumper current limit of 8 A. The digital input module provides 16 inputs at 24 V DC, supports 2-wire and 3-wire sensors, operates on the Inline local bus at 500 kbit/s, and processes its inputs in a 16-bit data channel. The analog input module provides two independently configurable single-ended channels for voltage or current measurement, covering ranges including 0–10 V, ±10 V, 0–20 mA, ±20 mA, and 4–20 mA with a process-data update time under 1.5 ms for both channels. Across these modules, the series uses Inline spring-cage terminal connections and IP20 housings, includes local diagnostic indicators, and specifies industrial environmental operation from -25 °C to +55 °C with electrical-isolation requirements between logic and I/O supply areas.
