The Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive HMV Supply Units are DC power supply modules for IndraDrive M systems that provide the DC bus required by compatible power sections such as HMS and HMD.
The series supports both infeeding and regenerative configurations, with a three-phase mains connection and a DC bus interface (L+/L−) intended to distribute bus power to multiple connected drive controllers. For control and safety integration, the HMV units use an external 24 V control supply and provide dedicated I/O for mains contactor control plus a DC bus short-circuit function (ZKS) to manage energy flow during certain fault or power-loss conditions. Status and interlock signaling is available via floating message contacts that indicate readiness for mains connection, DC bus voltage state, and warning conditions such as braking resistor overload or supply-unit overtemperature. Mechanical/electrical integration is designed around cabinet installation practices including specified grounding, and modular accessories such as contact bars and joint bars to link DC bus, control voltage, and protective earth between neighboring devices.
