Product Description:
The HMV01.1R-W0120 is a supply unit from the HMV IndraDrive Supply Units series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. As a regenerative DC-bus power module, it links the plant mains to multiple IndraDrive inverters so that braking energy from connected servo axes can be returned to the grid instead of being dissipated as heat. This arrangement reduces cabinet thermal load and improves overall energy efficiency in industrial automation cells that require coordinated cyclic motion. It is intended for multi-axis systems that operate from a shared DC bus. In these systems, the supply unit supports stable energy flow between the mains connection and the connected inverter group.
Electrically, the unit accepts a continuous input current of 181 A and can deliver up to 120 kW of DC-bus power to the connected drive group. A control section limited to 13 A supervises firing sequences and protective functions, while terminal X14 tolerates line voltages up to 530 V AC. The internal DC link is buffered by a 4950 µF capacitor bank that smooths regenerated energy before redistribution. Cooling is provided by internal air with an integrated blower, and the dedicated fan uses a 24 V DC supply to keep semiconductor temperatures within the permitted range during full regenerative operation. The mains connection uses an M10 threaded terminal, and the unit is series version 01 with design version 1.
The housing is 309 mm deep, 350 mm wide, and 748 mm high, with a mass of 34.5 kg. Clearance below the unit should be 334 mm, and clearance above it should be 300 mm so the blower can move warmed air away without recirculation. These dimensions allow the module to fit standard 600 mm-deep enclosures and support orderly cabinet layout beside companion drive components. The regenerative layout can reduce the need for external braking hardware in shared-bus systems. When connected to the DC-bus rails, the module supplies shared bus energy to multiple IndraDrive inverters during coordinated multi-axis operation.
