Product Description:
The HMV02.1R-F0150-A-07-NNNN is a cabinet-mounted power interface built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HMV IndraDrive Supply Units series. It converts three-phase input power into a stable direct-current link for interconnected drive controllers, enabling coordinated motion of multiple servo axes in industrial automation lines. By combining the incoming feed with integrated energy management, the unit simplifies the power section of a multi-axis cell and frees the inverter modules from individual rectifiers. A single supply unit can therefore support several connected axes from one shared power source, which helps keep the drive layout organized inside press, printing, and packaging machinery.
As an HMV Supply Unit, the module has a continuous power rating of 150 kW, so connected inverters can draw substantial power without derating. Its internal capacitor bank operates on a DC 700 V bus, providing a consistent voltage level for high-speed servo dynamics and stable operation during changing load conditions. The power stage uses a regenerative design, which returns braking energy to the supply line instead of converting it into waste heat inside the cabinet. Thermal stability is maintained by liquid cooling, with coolant channels in the heat sink carrying losses away from the drive stack and reducing the need for high internal airflow. This cooling method also helps limit temperature rise around neighboring modules during repeated acceleration and deceleration cycles.
The enclosure has an IP20 protection rating, so the terminals are guarded against accidental finger contact, but the unit still requires installation inside an enclosed control cabinet where dust and fluids may be present. The unit is design version 1 and series version 02, which place it within the proper product generation for matching IndraDrive components. IP20 does not provide water protection, so the surrounding cabinet must supply the external barrier against shop contaminants. These revision codes identify the hardware generation used for this model and help distinguish it from other product revisions in the platform.
