Product Description:
The HMV01.1R-W0105-A-07-FNN4 is a supply unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HMV IndraDrive Supply Units series. It forms the power front end of an IndraDrive installation by converting three-phase mains power into a controlled supply for connected drive components. By stabilizing a common DC link, the unit supports coordinated motion in packaging machines, gantries, conveyors, and automated assembly equipment. In multi-axis systems, this arrangement allows one axis to draw from the shared supply while another returns energy during braking.
The supply unit maintains a nominal bus voltage of DC 700 V, allowing energy to be distributed to multiple IndraDrive inverters on the same bus. Cooling is provided by internal air cooling with an integrated blower, so heat is removed through forced airflow inside the unit without requiring external cooling equipment. The power section is regenerative, which allows excess kinetic energy from decelerating axes to be fed back to the line instead of being dissipated as heat. Cabinet installation is intended for an IP20 environment, which provides protection against accidental finger contact but does not seal the unit against moisture. Because the blower is built in, the cabinet must still provide a clear airflow path around the housing so the cooling stream is not restricted.
The unit is in Design Version 1 and carries Series Version 01 within this product line. These version identifiers place the unit within the correct product generation for matching components and documentation. During rapid deceleration events, returned energy is directed back toward the plant supply rather than into a brake resistor. This reduces heat buildup inside the cabinet during repetitive motion cycles. The internal airflow path also helps maintain stable operating temperature during repeated regenerative operation.
