Product Description:
The HMV01.1E-W0030 supply unit is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the HMV IndraDrive Supply Units series. As a line-connected power module, it feeds AC mains energy into the shared DC bus of multi-axis drive systems and provides braking energy dissipation for regenerative motion. The unit directs up to 30 kW of rated output toward connected inverters and coordinates braking resistors through its internal electronics, making it suitable for medium-power automation machines that require centralized power management.
In continuous service, the integrated braking resistor can absorb 100 kWs of energy and converts heat at a steady 1.5 kW rate, while short surge events permit a peak of 36 kW. When a choke is fitted on the 400 V line, the unit delivers 30 kW of continuous DC bus power, yet it can sustain a transient bus demand of 45 kW for 0.3 s to clear rapid deceleration cycles. Without the optional choke, the continuous bus limit falls to 18 kW, and the front end draws 51 A rms from the mains. A rated 31 kW of connected line power is available to the internal rectifier, aligning with the 30 kW nominal output required by typical IndraDrive servo axes.
The DC link is stabilized by 1410 µF of capacitance and is electrically clamped below the bus ceiling of 900 V. Control electronics operate from a separate 24 V DC supply that draws 25 W and maintains a constant 1 A for gating, monitoring, and blower startup. Thermal removal relies on internal air guided by an integrated blower, limiting continuous power dissipation to 150 W and supporting the supply unit’s mass of 13.5 kg. Its feed-in configuration and design version 1 mean no external precharge circuitry is required, and the assembly installs in the first position of an IndraDrive power cabinet.
