Product Description:
The VACON-0050-3L-0016-5-X Drive combines precise control with rugged reliability, equipped with 5 digital inputs for flexible automation. Danfoss produces this type of drive and it has a wide storage tolerance, built in braking and a compact frame designed to fit easily into industrial panels.
The VACON-0050-3L-0016-5-X drive has an acceleration period from 0.1 to 3200 seconds and it reliably performs in environments slightly below freezing up to warm indoor or mild outdoor temperatures specifically -10…+40 °C. It has a built in serial communication channel RS485 with Modbus RTU that enables the servo to talk directly to controllers and other devices. This module has a short term overload endurance of 120 percent for 1 mint and it incorporates three ports for continuous signal inputs. Its output oscillation ranges from 0.1–400 Hz which allows extremely slow pulses or very rapid cycles. It features mechanical switch contacts that can be triggered to signal external devices such as alarms, brakes or interlocks. It is energized by three alternating currents that ensure stable torque and balanced power supply. It is highly dustproof and resistant to strong water jets and it consumes 15.6 amperes when working at full rating.
This VACON-0050-3L-0016-5-X drive has a deceleration window from 0.1 to 3200 sec which means stooping time can be adjusted from abrupt halts to very soft slowdowns. It is moderately portable with a mass of 6.4 kilograms and is also solid enough for industrial mounting. This module relies on a higher voltage industrial power line that ranges from 380 to 460 volts. It also has two channels for analogue feedback that provide proportional information such as current speed or torque levels back to other control systems.
