Product Description:

The VACONX4C40020C Low Voltage Drive from Danfoss features a NEMA 4X / IP66 enclosure with full protection against dust and water ingress. It has a factory-installed keypad to provide direct access for configuration and monitoring without any outside tools.

The VACONX4C40020C drive works with a three-phase input voltage of 460 VAC to ensure compatibility with most industrial power systems. It has a rated input current of 3.9 A and an output current of 3.4 A, enabling even energy conversion between input and output circuits. When running in normal duty, this drive can deliver 2 HP, and it can support 1 HP under heavy duty. This drive supports operation within a line frequency range of 50/60 Hz with ±2 Hz tolerance, enabling use in areas with diverse grid standards. This drive incorporates a complete set of protective features, such as overcurrent protection to avoid excessive current flow through the system. Its overvoltage trip level is 814 VDC to protect it from voltage spikes. Similarly, its ground fault detection feature checks the insulation integrity all the time. Its short circuit protection reacts rapidly to fault currents to prevent damage to internal parts.

This low-voltage drive’s noise emission level is ≤80 dBA at one meter distance to allow compliance with work environment noise standards. This drive’s control function features V/Hz mode of control for simple applications, and Sensorless Vector Control (SVC) for accurate torque and speed control. With a weight of 8.5 lb (3.85 kg), the VACONX4C40020C drive offers small dimensions and easy installation along with full functionality and protection feature sets. Its mechanical durability is ensured by vibration conformity according to EN50178 up to 1 G for durability when subjected to constant vibration or mechanical shock.
