The VT-VRPA Electric Amplifiers series is a Bosch Rexroth family of analog Eurocard amplifiers designed to actuate pilot-operated servo solenoid valves.
The series is built for installation in 19-inch rack systems and uses a closed-loop output stage with PID-based position control to regulate valve operation. Its control features include an enabling input, adjustable valve zero, multiple setpoint inputs, and a ramp function that can be adjusted internally or by external voltage command and can also be switched off. The amplifiers also include practical diagnostic and protection functions such as open-circuit monitoring for the feedback cable, undervoltage indication, and short-circuit-proof outputs. The series operates from a nominal 24 VDC supply or suitable rectified AC input and is designed to provide fast response through clocked current regulation and rapid energizing and de-energizing behavior.
