The VT-VRPA1-537-10/V0/PV-RTP plug-in card amplifier is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-VRPA Electric Amplifiers series. Its compact Eurocard format allows it to be inserted into standard 19-inch racks alongside other motion or process controllers, where it functions as the signal-conditioning and power stage between PLC analog outputs and field-mounted proportional valves.
Electrical operation centers on a nominal bus voltage of 24 VDC, allowing the card to share the low-voltage supply used in hydraulic control cabinets. Under peak demand, the board draws 2.5 A and handles up to 60 W of internal power dissipation. All field and logic conductors enter through a DIN 41612-F32 edge connector that mates with a backplane. Valve-drive frequency, reference voltage, and maximum current can be adjusted through onboard jumpers. The 24 V error relay can disengage the output when an operating limit is exceeded, protecting the connected valve and amplifier output stage from continued operation under a fault condition.
