Product Description:
The VT-VRPA1-100-11/V0/0 is a plug-in electric amplifier card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-VRPA Electric Amplifiers series. The module conditions command and feedback signals so a proportional valve receives a controlled current, allowing hydraulic actuators to follow electronic setpoints in automated presses, machine tools, and test stands. It installs on a standardized Eurocard carrier and interfaces with system wiring through a multipin backplane, forming the bridge between low-level control electronics and high-power valve solenoids in industrial automation.
The board is 160 mm long and 100 mm wide, allowing it to fit a 3U subrack without overhang. Supply energy is drawn from a 24 V DC rail, and the internal circuitry supports a continuous load of 1.5 A while keeping the temperature rise within acceptable limits. A DIN 41612-F32 connector routes power, setpoint, and monitor lines to the motherboard. The setpoint input has an impedance of 100 kΩ, which prevents excessive loading of upstream controllers. Potentiometer excitation is provided at ±10 V, delivering a stable reference for manual trim devices without interfering with the main supply.
A 4700 µF/63 V DC smoothing capacitor absorbs ripple during fast current changes, improving valve positioning accuracy. The assembly weighs 0.25 kg, so it adds little mass to slide-in racks and remains easy to handle during installation. To energize proportional coils, the card can deliver 2.7 A / 40 VA at the solenoid terminals, providing sufficient magnetic force for high-flow servo valves. Auxiliary sensors receive a dedicated ±15 V transducer supply, allowing bridge circuits or LVDTs to provide clean feedback signals. The pilot feedback resistance is 20 kΩ, while the potentiometer source supplies 10 mA. A ±5% zero adjustment range allows system drift to be corrected during setup.
