Product Description:
The VT-VRPA1-527-10/V0/QV is an amplifier card manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the VT-VRPA Electric Amplifiers series. It modulates current to a proportional solenoid while monitoring feedback signals, allowing closed-loop adjustment of hydraulic valves in industrial automation. By converting low-level commands from a PLC or potentiometer into regulated power for the actuator, the module provides precise control over flow or pressure loops without requiring external power stages. This arrangement allows the command and feedback signals to be processed directly by the card before regulated current is delivered to the connected solenoid.
Normal operation requires a supply of 24 VDC, which is compatible with common machine power buses and low-voltage cabinet wiring. The card draws up to 1.5 A, and its internal power dissipation is limited to 35 W, so convection cooling in a rack is usually sufficient. A feedback oscillator operating at 7.8 kHz excites the differential sensor inside compatible spool valves, and the returned signal is compared with a 10.2 V RMS test reference. When load demand peaks, the output stage can provide up to 2.7 A of solenoid current, while an error channel supplies 100 mA to indicate fault conditions. A dedicated +10 V rail delivers 10 mA to an external 1 kΩ command potentiometer, allowing the setpoint to be adjusted locally.
The Eurocard measures 100 × 160 mm and mounts behind a 7 TE front plate equipped with status LEDs and adjustment potentiometers. Solenoid power is limited to 25 W, helping prevent coil overheating during continuous modulation. Field wiring attaches through a DIN 41612-F32 plug connector, so the board can be removed from the rack without disconnecting individual wires from separate terminal strips. Despite its power capability, the assembly weighs only 0.36 kg, which reduces mechanical strain on the card guides in multi-axis racks. The front-mounted indicators provide a direct view of operating status, while the accessible adjustment controls support local signal tuning from the rack face.
