The Indramat TVM power supply modules provide the common DC bus and control voltages for Indramat modular AC drive systems, allowing multiple drive axes to run from one supply.
They rectify three-phase mains input (typically 220/230 VAC, 50/60 Hz) to generate a stabilized 300 VDC link with buffer capacitance for servo operation. Regenerated braking energy is handled through an integrated bleeder resistor system, with expansion options available to increase DC-bus capacitance or braking capacity. Power distribution and status/monitoring are handled through the system ribbon connection, including a readiness contact used for coordinated enable/fault behavior. The units are designed for cabinet installation with specified clearances and operating limits, including a standard ambient range of +5 to +45 °C with derating up to +55 °C.
