TVM 2.2-50-300-W1 is a Bosch Rexroth power supply module. It is part of the TVM product line. Bosch’s industrial A.C. drive system is made up of a single supply module and multiple drive modules. Several drives can be powered from one supply module. The TVM supply modules are a component of Bosch’s modular AC drive system. These modules provide high voltage DC for motor power and control voltages for connected Bosch drives. The power supply modules convert AC input to DC output. The main component responsible for performing AC to DC conversion is a rectifier. The main power lines connect to line terminals on the front of the module. TVM mains connection can be protected with circuit breakers or classification fuses. Protection fuses are also located on the front of the module. TVM modules support direct connection to three-phase AC mains. However, Bosch permits direct connections only when the AC mains are grounded. If the module is connected to ungrounded AC mains, and isolation transformer must be used. An isolation transformer offers the best possible protection against overvoltages and the greatest possible operating safety. Isolation transformers in wall mount and foot mount configurations are available form Bosch. These transformers are available in power ratings of up to 10 kVA. Autotransformers can be used to adapt the AC mains voltage to the voltage rating supported by the TVM 2.2-50-300-W1 module.
