TVM1.2-50-220/330-W0/115/220 is a Bosch Rexroth TVM series power supply module. It requires 3-phase AC input at 220 Volts AC. The module supports direct connection to the AC mains. However, TVM modules should not be connected directly to ungrounded AC mains. An isolation transformer is mandatory when using ungrounded AC mains. Failure to follow this protection can lead to electric shock and equipment damage. In some cases, the AC mains voltage will differ from that required by the power module. In these cases, an autotransformer can be used to step up or step down the AC mains voltage. Bosch supplies autotransformers and isolation transformers as optional accessories for TVM modules. Both of these types of transformers are available in foot-mount and wall-mount versions. Autotransformers available with Bosch support maximum 20 kVA ratings. Isolation transformers available with Bosch support maximum 10 kVA ratings. Other accessories for TVM modules include bleeder modules used to increase regenerated power and auxiliary capacitors.
