The Rexroth Indramat TVM 2.2-050-W1-220/380 is a power supply module. It is designed to provide power to multiple drives in Indramat AC drive systems. The TVM 2.2-050-W1-220/380 can provide power to a maximum of six drives for the drive electronics. The power supply can also provide DC high voltage power to motors in the system. Input of the supply module is rated for 220 Volts AC. The frequency range is 50 to 60 Hertz. The DC bus voltage is 300 Volts DC with 15% tolerance. The DC bus continuous power is 7.5 kilowatts. The DC bus peak power is 60 kilowatts. Continuous bleeder power rating is 0.45 kilowatts and the peak bleeder power rating is 10 kilowatts. The TVM 2.2-050-W1-220/380 supply also requires 230 or 400 Volts AC single phase power input for the control electronics.

If the TVM 2.2-050-W1-220/380 is operated according to ambient conditions recommended by Rexroth, the output current will be 50 Amps. If however the ambient conditions are different from those recommended by the manufacturer, then the supply module output will derate. In such circumstances the supply module could also suffer damage. Therefore for long term and reliable operation the manufacturer recommendations i.e. 5 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature and up to 3300 feet altitude should be ensured. Rexroth does permit operation of the module at temperature of up to 55 degrees Celsius and at altitudes of up to 16500 feet, but with output derating. A blower is provided with the TVM 2.2-050-W1-220/380 which assists in cooling of the module during operation. The supply module housing is IP 10 rated and should be installed inside an industrial enclosure where it will be protected from dust and moisture.
