TVM 2.4-050-220/300-W1/200/380 is a power supply module. Its rated output is 50 Amps. The module is designed for three-phase AC input at 220 Volts AC. Control electronics on the module require single-phase input at 200 Volts AC or 380 Volts AC. Several accessories are available from Bosch for satisfying different application requirements. A bleeder resistor can be connected to the output of the power supply for increase peak and average regenerated power. Sometimes the AC supply voltage is different from the voltage required by the power module. It such situations, an autotransformer can be used to adapt the voltage. Bosch supplies autotransformers in wall mount and foot mount configurations in power ratings of up to 20 kVA. Sometimes, the AC mains are ungrounded. In such situations, Bosch recommends using an isolation transformer. The isolation transformer isolates the power module from the AC supply and protects it against anomalies such as transients and surges. Bosch supplies isolation transformers in wall mount and foot mount configurations in power ratings of up to 10 kVA. Other available accessories include auxiliary capacitors, dynamic braking contactors and dynamic braking resistors. An internal blower on the TVM 2.4-050-220/300-W1/200/380 provides improved heat dissipation. The rated output is only available when the ambient temperature and site elevation are within limits specified by the manufacturer. Ambient temperatures and site elevations that exceeds specified limits lead to output derating, and can potentially lead to equipment malfunction. For these reasons, operating the module under non-specified conditions is not recommended and should be avoided. With an IP10 rated enclosure, the TVM 2.4-050-220/300-W1/200/380 should only be used outdoors when it is mounted inside an enclosure that provides adequate protection against dust and moisture.
