The TVM 1.2-050-220/300-W1/220/380V model is designed and manufactured by Rexroth Indramat and it is used to make a connection directly from the 3-phase connection lines and then distribute it to the respective drive controllers. The TVM power supply module belongs to the modular Indramat AC drive system. Several drives can be powered by a single power supply unit. The TVM power supply module takes electrical power through the 3 × AC 220V power source and converts it into the dc-link voltage to operate the respective drive controllers. The model consists of a transformer and an auxiliary bleeder module. The DC bus continuous power generated by the model is 7.5 kW with a peak power generation of 60 kW. When the drive is operating as a generator the 0.45/2.25 kW of regenerated power is fed back into the electrical power system. The module is designed to operate at the rated current of 50 A with the nominal dc bus voltage of 300 V. The continuous mechanical power generated by the module is 4.1 kW.

The model TVM 1.2-050-220/300-W1/220/380V comes with a built-in blower unit that uses external air for cooling purposes. The blower operates at the rated voltage of AC 220 – 400 V with the operating frequency of 50/60 Hz. The total weight of the power supply module is approximately 15 kg excluding the weight of mounting. The ambient temperature range for this module is +5 to +45 degree Celsius with a maximum ambient temperature range of +55 degree Celsius. The unit can be mounted at the maximum altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. The unit enclosure is protected by an IP10 protection rating.
