The Rexroth Indramat TVM 2.1-050-220/300-115 is a TVM series power supply module. It can provide power for up to six Indramat drives. Each drive should be separately connected with a ground wire to the PE bus bar on the power supply module. The input voltage rating for the power supply is three-phase 220 Volts AC. The supply accepts single phase input at 115 Volts AC for control electronics and provides 24 Volts / 15 Volts DC control voltages for the connected drives. The maximum power consumed by the control electronics is 550 Watts. DC bus on the TVM 2.1-050-220/300-115 is rated for 300 Volts DC. Prior to performing any service or maintenance activities, the input to the supply should be switched off and the DC bus should be allowed to discharge completely. Failure to do so can lead to electric shock.

Under optimal ambient conditions, the current at the output of the TVM 2.1-050-220/300-115 is 50 Amps. For voltage matching, an autotransformer can be sued at the input to the TVM 2.1-050-220/300-115 to match the main input to the supply input. However the power supply can be directly connected to three-phase 220 Volts AC input.  Resistors may be required to limit the inrush current. Economical circuit breakers can be used for fuse protection. The heat losses and energy consumed by the TVM 2.1-050-220/300-115 can be minimized if additional capacitances are used to store the energy created during braking. A ready contact is provided on the TVM 2.1-050-220/300-115 which switches off power in the event of a malfunction. A LED display on the front of the supply displays error codes during fault conditions to aid in troubleshooting. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
