TVM-1.2-220/300/W1/220/380 is a power supply module. Its rated output is 50 Amps. The power module requires three-phase input at 220 Volts AC. The line frequency requirement is 50 to 60 Hertz. Control electronics on the unit require single-phase AC input at 220 or 380 Volts AC. The internal blower installed on the module increases airflow for better heat dissipation. Bosch recommends 5 to 45 degrees Celsius ambient temperature for power module operation. The output of the unit derates at temperatures that are higher than 45 degrees Celsius. The derating reaches a peak of 20% at 55 degrees Celsius. Bosch does not allow TVM module operation at temperatures above 55 degrees Celsius. The output of the TVM-1.2-220/300/W1/220/380 unit also derates if the site elevation is more than 1000 meters. The output derates in a non-linear fashion at altitudes between 1000 and 5000 meters, reaching a peak of 35% at 5000 meters. Bosch does not allow TVM module operation at altitudes that are more than 5000 meters. The TVM-1.2-220/300/W1/220/380 module rectifies AC input and supplies DC output to connected industrial drive units. The DC power from the module is utilized for drive control electronics and for motor power. DC output of the module is 300 Volts DC. The unit has an IP10 rated housing. This type of housing does not provide protection against dust and moisture ingress. Therefore, Bosch recommends installing the module inside a suitable cabinet. As the module can get very hot, Bosch recommends minimum 80 millimeter spacing on the top and bottom to aid airflow around the operating device. Furthermore, wires and cables should be kept at least 40 millimeters away from the sides and 200 millimeters away from the top of the unit.
