The MTC200 CNC modules series includes the MTC-P01.
2 for industrial PC ISA-bus installation and the MTC-R01/MTC-R02 modules for RECO rack-based cabinet systems. These modules combine a CNC processor with an integrated axis processor and use SERCOS fiber-optic communication for drive control, with up to 8 drives connected in the base configuration. With added axis processor expansion modules, the series can scale to control as many as 32 drives distributed across up to seven processes using multiple fiber-optic loops. The MTC-P01.2 is intended for installation in a free ISA slot and can expand from a single-slot setup to a multi-slot arrangement depending on added axis modules, while the MTC-R versions are built for modular rack mounting alongside MTS-R SPS modules. In the rack-based MTC200-R architecture, the CNC and SPS modules form a compact machine-tool control platform with 24 VDC supply connection, modular expansion options, and support for configurable fieldbus/serial interfaces on the SPS side.
