The MTS200-R is a powerful CNC controller designed for high performance applications. The controller falls in the IP 20 rating. The system can be installed in the switchgear cabinet by using the RMB02.2 racks. The device is also equipped with the SPS module and the NC module MTC-R02.1-M1-A2-A2-A2-FW. These modules have the ability to communicate with each other by using a separate internal local bus which is implemented on the adapter board. The NC module in conjunction with the SPS module provides a compact solution for typical machine control applications. When using the system, it is possible to control up to 32 drives and initiate up to 7 processes. The NC module is equipped with a base unit that houses an integrated processor and the CNC processor system which allow integration with up to 8 drives.

The MTC-R02.1-M1-A2-A2-A2-FW also contains three additional modules that are installed in the slots U1, U2, and U3. Each of three modules house an additional axis processor that enables the connection of 8 additional drives. In the largest configuration, it is therefore possible to connect up to 32 separate drives with the system. The NC modules has a maximum heat loss of 26 W. It consumes a maximum current of 930 mA. The device weighs just around 1.65 kg and has the dimesnions of 83.7 mm x 192 mm x 152 mm (W x H x D). The CNC controller requires a 24 V DC supply voltage for normal functioning. It can be installed in all areas that have a maximum ambient air pressure of 860 hPa to 1080 hPa. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
