The MTC-P01.2-E1-A2-A2-NN-FW is a computer numeric controller produced by Rexroth Indramat to provide a means of accurate control in the industrial servo system. This electrical component carries out motion control by monitoring and controlling the activities of industrial drive controllers connected to it through the SERCOS communication interface. This numerical controller features highly advanced and sophisticated industrial components that allow it to deliver operate at a top level for a long time without requiring any repair operation. Some of the unique electrical components present in this drive controller include a rechargeable battery, and Indramat local bus, a PC104 Bus, and a Diagnose Anzeige. The MTC-P01.2-E1-A2-A2-NN-FW numeric controller is also capable of independent diagnosis, this is a very important attribute as it allows the operator to quickly detect and respond to any operational error.

The MTC-P01.2-E1-A2-A2-NN-FW features a 1-megabyte Random Access Memory that holds operational data and supplies it to the processing unit when needed. The firmware module of this numeric controller is not supplied with the main device, operators have to order this separate sub-item.

Two different types of fiber optics cable can be used with the MTC-P01.2-E1-A2-A2-NN-FW drive controller; the plastic fiber optic cable and the glass fiber optic cable.
