The Rexroth MTC-P01.1-M1-A1-A1-A1-A1-FW is a CNC controller. It is available in an ISA bus module format that is designed for installation inside a suitable industrial computer. The communication between the CNC module and the computer takes place over the ISA bus. The power supply for the module from the computer is also routed over the ISA bus. Communication between the MTC-P01.1-M1-A1-A1-A1-A1-FW and the SPS takes place over the Indramat local bus. For this purpose, both modules need to be connected through a 50-way ribbon cable. Rexroth does not recommend storing the module for more than 6 months as doing so can lead to battery discharge and loss of user data.
