The MTC-P01.2-E1-NN-NN-NN-FW EP CNC controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth is compatible with the BTV30 and BTV20 custom display terminals made by the same manufacturer. The product can communicate with the manufacturer’s digital drives, industrial PCs, and SPS modules. This communication takes place through the SERCOS interface, the standard ISA bus, and the local bus respectively. The module should be firmly seated in its slot by using a bracket to hold it in place. The NC program and cycle packages as well as zero offsets of the device are likely to get affected if its battery remains uncharged due to non-usage of the controller for a prolonged period.

The controller replaces worn-out tools with alternate tools of the same designation during machining if substitutes are available in the tool storage unit. The module comes with a 1MB RAM that acts as its primary memory. The unit does not have any axis processor modules in its Location 1, Location 2, and Location 3 slots. The connectors of this device must be removed or connected only when the power is OFF. The H1 display showcases the “J.” code if the boot lock for the firmware is active.
