The MTC-P01.2-E1-A2-A2-A2-FW is a computer numeric controller designed by Rexroth Indramat. This device is an electronic component that features the ISA bus module format and can thus be installed into the industrial PC. This CNC control drive features about an integrated axis micro processor which can support the operation of industrial drive controllers connected to it through the SERCOS communication interface. The MTC-P01.2-E1-A2-A2-A2-FW controller can normally support the operation of about 8 industrial drive controllers, however this number can be increased to 32 through the connection of additional axis module into the controller. The MTC-P01.2-E1-A2-A2-A2-FW CNC controller in connection with the MTS-P01.1 SPS controller provides industrialists with a compact and efficient means of carrying out accurate machine control in industrial production systems.  

The operation of the MTC-P01.2-E1-A2-A2-A2-FW controller is dependent on the user date which is determined by the operator. However, this user data can be lost if the operator is controller is left inactive for about six months. The operation of the MTC-P01.2-E1-A2-A2-A2-FW controller is supported by a rechargeable battery which supplies the controller with electrical energy when it is not connected to the mains. The rechargeable battery used with this drive controller has a charging time of 1 hour and can operate for about 50 hours after it has been fully charged.

The MTC-P01.2-E1-A2-A2-A2-FW controller is about 280 millimeters long and 124 millimeters wide. It should be installed in the free ISA slot present in the industrial PC.
