The PM Drivers series comprises 5-phase stepping motor drivers designed to operate compatible stepping motors across a wide range of small to large capacities without requiring adjustment for different uses.
The series includes both photocoupler-input and C-MOS-input versions, and supports either pulse-and-direction mode or 2-input CW/CCW command operation through switch selection. For motion refinement, the drivers provide a micro-step function with sixteen selectable resolutions, allowing the motor’s basic step angle to be divided from 1 up to 250 increments for smoother low-speed operation. Additional built-in functions include automatic current reduction, external step-angle selection, power-down input, and a phase-origin monitor output, with command pulse input capability up to 400 kpulses per second. The units are specified for DC 24 V or 36 V operation, are intended for vertical installation, and are built as compact driver packages for industrial motion-control applications.
