However, it’s important not to exceed the specified test duration to avoid damaging the unit. Proper wiring and secure grounding are crucial: when grounding through the motor frame, the connection must be direct to the PE (protective earth) terminal to minimize effects from Cf x dv/dt currents generated by the PWM unit.
When using metal conduits or boxes for wiring, one-point grounding is necessary to prevent noise problems.
