The PMAPA1A6B21 Driver belonging to the PM Driver series has an advanced control for permanent magnet motors and features adjustable parameters for acceleration, deceleration and torque limits that ensure precise operation. Sanyo Denki produced this driver for industrial automation tasks.

The PMAPA1A6B21 driver comes with input/output connection terminals( CN1 to CN5) that provide physical connections for both power (AC input) and communication (RS-232/RS-485). The module communicates with other devices at adjustable communication speeds (baud rates) which allows the user to configure the speed at which data is transferred, based on the needs of the system. It comes with a built in cooling system that uses ventilation grilles, a fan and a heatsink which prevents heat. This module needs to be grounded properly to avoid electrical hazards or damage to the system and the grounding terminal ensures that electrical faults or stray currents can be safely diverted.
