The NSM Brushless Servo Motors series is a family of low-inertia servo motors designed for applications such as semiconductor equipment, material handling, web processing, robotics, packaging machinery, and other precision motion systems.
The motors use a high-energy ring magnet rotor and rugged industrial construction to deliver a strong torque-to-size ratio in compact packages. Across the series, the motors are offered in NEMA 23, 34, 42, and 56 mounting frame styles, with continuous torque ratings ranging from 0.2 Nm to 6.0 Nm and peak torque ratings reaching 17.0 Nm. Standard feedback is provided by an integral encoder, with ordering options that include 2,000-line or 5,000-line encoder versions, 115 V or 230 V winding selections, and optional 24 VDC brake and shaft seal configurations on supported sizes. The series is also built for operation in a 40°C ambient environment.
