By coupling to a suitable drive, the unit converts three-phase stator power into controlled rotor motion, enabling positioning tasks in packaging, electronics assembly, and material transfer lines.
Under continuous load, the motor delivers 1.8 Nm of shaft torque, and it can maintain this output while spinning at a sustained speed of 4,500 rpm. For short duty cycles, the electromagnetic stack withstands overloads up to 5.7 Nm, supplying extra acceleration force during indexing moves. The permanent-magnet design has a torque constant of 0.41 Nm/A, so the drive must supply approximately 4.4 A to reach the continuous torque rating. The stator windings are configured for a 230 V line-to-line rating, have a resistance of 2.8 Ω, and present an inductance of 11.0 mH.
