M.1015.6965 is a NSM series AC servo motor from Kollmorgen. It is a designed for industrial applications. The motor must be used in a clean and dry environment. The recommended operating temperature for the motor is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The recommended storage temperature for the motor is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. The operating environment must be free of corrosive gases and elements. The recommended range for relative (non-condensing) humidity is from 5 to 95%. The motor must be visually inspected prior to installation. To avoid electromagnetic interference, operators must provide suitable spacing between the power wiring and motor cabling. A single-point parallel grounding system should be used for all equipment. If required, operators can use additional techniques to reduce noise. Sufficient clearance around the motor is necessary for maintenance of ambient temperature.

Connectors on the motor must point downward to prevent liquid ingress. The motor surface can get extremely hot, and operators must take necessary precautions to prevent injury to working personnel.
