The motor incorporates a load-holding brake, an incremental encoder for speed and position feedback, and windings suitable for closed-loop industrial actuation.
This model delivers a continuous shaft torque of 6.8 lb-in and tolerates momentary demands up to 18.5 lb-in without magnetic saturation. Output torque scales linearly with current because of its torque constant of 0.17 Nm/A, while the back electromotive force is 21 V/kRPM; these values support calculations of voltage and current margins across the operating range. Thermal buildup is limited by a housing-to-ambient thermal resistance of 1.6 °C/W, and the shaft can accept a radial load of 56 lb at 3,000 rpm without bearing distress.
