It has a 512 MB built-in  main memory and can also make use of flash memory through a Compact Flash card slot. This model has neither a Windows operating system, nor TwinCAT control software. An inbuilt clock for time and date is also provided. The clock is backed by the internal battery. The system also comes with multiple diagnostic LEDs and uses a 24 V DC power supply for its operation.
