The CML IndraControl hardware series is a modular, scalable control platform that combines embedded-PC architecture with a standardized, terminal-based I/O system for both motion-logic and PLC applications.
It is offered in different performance classes and system variants, including configurations with or without a real-time motion network interface. These controllers include onboard high-speed digital I/O and standardized communication options such as Ethernet and common industrial fieldbuses, depending on the configuration. The platform can be expanded through function/technology modules via an integrated internal bus and by adding Rexroth Inline I/O modules side-by-side, supporting centralized and distributed control topologies. Application programs (including runtime) are stored on an easily accessible CompactFlash medium, and the 24 VDC supply is used to generate the internal logic and auxiliary supplies needed for the controller and attached terminals.
