Sanyo Denki’s Linear Servo Motors series is built for applications that need high speed and high accuracy, including semiconductor manufacturing equipment, LCD manufacturing equipment, chip mounters, wire bonders, and conveyors.
The series includes several motor constructions, such as dual magnet type with core, flat type with core, center magnet type with core, and cylinder linear designs. Across the lineup, the series covers a broad performance range with rated thrust values from low-force precision applications up to much higher-thrust industrial motion tasks, along with rated speeds suited to fast linear movement. A defining feature of the center magnet type is that its structure cancels magnetic attraction forces within the motor, which helps simplify device construction, while the broader line is also positioned around compact size and high thrust density. The series is part of the SANMOTION lineup and is designed to work with compatible servo amplifiers, with supported system configurations including both analog or pulse-input control and EtherCAT-based control.
