Product Description:
The DS035CC1ANAA100 is a moving-coil section supplied by Sanyo Denki for the Linear Servo Motors series. The unit is a linear motor designed to deliver direct thrust along a track, eliminating rotary-to-linear conversions in automated pick-and-place axes, gantries, and high-speed positioning stages. By coupling with permanent-magnet secondary rails, it produces controlled linear force whenever a matched amplifier drives current through the coils, giving machinery fast acceleration and repeatable travel profiles.
For current regulation, the coil supports a compatible amplifier rated at 30 A, allowing full use of its copper cross-section without excessive heating. Under maximum excitation, the mover reaches a linear velocity of 2.6 m/s, while continuous operation is intended at a rated speed of 1.9 m/s to keep the temperature within design limits. Peak process moves can produce a dynamic thrust of 390 N, while steady traverses are maintained with a rated thrust of 200 N. During all operating modes, the steel yoke experiences a magnetic attraction force of 1300 N toward the magnet track, which must be considered when selecting mechanical guides and couplings.
The coil has a mass of 1.5 kg, limiting the inertial load on the bearing system and enabling rapid changes in direction. Six mounting holes secure the housing to a slide, and each hole has an M5 thread with an effective thread depth of 7 mm for screw engagement. Because the unit has no Hall sensor, commutation relies on position feedback from an external encoder installed along the axis. The component mounts directly to a carriage in applications where a rotary motor and ball screw would add mechanical conversion components. Direct mounting also reduces the number of transmission parts between the motor and the moving load, supporting responsive motion in compact linear-axis assemblies.
