Product Description:
Sanyo Denki’s DS050CD1ANAA200 is a high-quality linear servo motor created under the distinguished Sanmotion G product family. It is compatible with DS050MDXXX magnet rails and functions mainly as the linear forcer or coil. During operation, the DS050CD1ANAA200 generates enough magnetic attraction force of 2000 N to slide seamlessly along the magnetic track. The coil has a mass of 2.15 kilograms, or about 4.7 pounds. Similar to other DS motors by Sanyo Denki, the DS050CD1ANAA200 requires an AC power supply with a terminal voltage of 200 V. Linear servo motors still require an alternating supply because they also employ a set of phases for inducing electromagnetism.
The DS050CD1ANAA200 requires a servo amplifier with a minimum capacity of 30 A. During operation, the servo amplifier processes control signals for the linear servo motor. On the amplifier's input side, controllers and digital signals may be connected. On the output side, the linear servo motor is connected. Depending on the status of the control signals at the input side, the DS050CD1ANAA200 may be controlled. Unlike self-starting rotary motors, linear servo motors such as the DS050CD1ANAA200 must always be part of a closed-loop system with a servo amplifier.
The DS050CD1ANAA200, being a linear servo motor, also has a linear speed rating of 2.0 m/s. Depending on the thrust force, the DS050CD1ANAA200 can safely operate up to a maximum speed of 3 m/s. Based on Sanyo Denki’s documentation, there exists a trade-off between the DS050CD1ANAA200’s maximum thrust force rating and speed. For higher values of operating speed, the maximum thrust force tends to decrease in a linear fashion. The DS050CD1ANAA200 is available with a one-year item warranty when bought from Wake Industrial.
